Here we go with the second part of the Titanfall shooter, a game developed by Respawn Entertainment. For those of you who are not aware, Titanfall is one of the best action games that combines the use of Mechas with first-person shooter, making it a very entertaining fps.

The illustrations that we find in the book are divided into several themes; mechas, pilots, environments, vehicles, weapons, structures, ships, npc’s and even at the end there is a small section with 2d graphics and model modeling.

The techniques used are very varied, there are 3d, 3d paintover, 2d illustrations, game captures… all brimming with quality and good taste. The concepts are incredible and will delight any fan of mecha and futuristic characters. It’s great to see how the concepts serve to illustrate the wear of metals, stains, military clothing and all those little details that surely take a long time to search for references and develop characters and props.
The environments, on the other hand, are numerous, detailed and help the reader understand perfectly the atmosphere in which the game takes place.

The same for weapons, tools and ships. From different perspectives and very well illustrated. It is possible that during the game all the work of these props may go unnoticed during the fps action but here they are appreciated in detail.

I think it’s a very entertaining game and the art book is up to the task. A great addition to our library!
